Hardwood Floors Magazine, published by the National Wood Flooring Association has announced their annual Wood Floor of the Year winners including a floor entered by a local business, Mark's Hardwood Flooring of Omro.
The awards, announced at the NWFA Convention in Honolulu, had competition from around the globe, with 134 entries from seven countries. NWFA members selected the winners through voting online or in person at the show.
Mark's entry featured a floor with a grapevine medallion and border that highlighted a random width white oak floor.
Mark Strehlow, owner of Mark's Hardwood Flooring of Omro said "we're absolutely thrilled with this award, especially because it was voted on by our peers in the industry".
Established in 1990, Mark specializes in custom, solid hardwood flooring installation and restoration. Mark was also recently selected to restore a historic wood floor in a Frank Lloyd Wright designed home in the Chicago area.
